Meet the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is a divine being, the third person in the Godhead (Matt 28:19), though not having a physical body i.e. we cannot see Him with our physical eye He is as real as who we can see, feel, and touch. The Holy Spirit has all the attributes of a person, He can speak (Rev 2:7), and feel, meaning just as you can interact with a person you can also interact with Him, your weakness can be felt by Him (Rom 8:26) and more which all are proof that He is a person though not having a physical body. He also possesses the attribute of God, He is omnipresent, omnipotent, eternal, holy, omniscient. His possession of these attributes which can only be of God solidifies the fact that He is God. A lot of symbolic words are used to refer to Him all through the scripture, dove (Matt 3:16), fire (Act 2:3), wind (Act 2:2), oil, water, and seal. He is called a lot of names in the scripture, The Holy Spirit is sometimes translated as The Holy Ghost, The Spirit of God, The Spirit of the Lord, The Spirit of Christ, The Comforter, The Spirit of Truth, and more He works within believers to have the same character as Christ by bearing in them fruit namely joy, love, peace, faith, long-suffering, gentleness, kindness, patience… (Gal 5:19) this is all called the fruit of the spirit. We cannot but talk about his supply of power and gift for effective ministry and spreading of the gospel of Christ across the board (Act 1:8; 1 Cor 12:1-11). The attributes, symbols, names, fruits, and gifts are all pointers to the assignment, nature, and power of the Holy Spirit toward believers and the world at large. The Holy Spirit Teaches, comforts, intercedes, helps our infirmities, and a lot more of his ministry. With these little details, I am glad you are already in love with him with a burning love in your spirit. Love know Him more, click the link below. Complete Teaching on The Holy Ghost

House on the rock

Matthew 7:20-29 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. From the scripture above, a house here can be anything built by man, it can be your personal life, marriage, business, career, children, and a lot more. Another thing I will also want to establish is the fact that, as stated in this portion of the scripture, no matter how you build whatever you build, challenges against it are common, the possibility of standing is based on the foundation/root of the building. Your house will only be able to withstand anything that comes against it if the following are in place; Understanding To understand things simply means to comprehend/perceive the intended meaning of a word/thing. When you hear the word of God, the value you place on and your action towards it is based on the level of your understanding of that word. How fruitful a word of God will be in your life is determined by the level of your understanding of that word. Matthew 13:23 KJV But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. As a believer in Christ of God when you build anything without a balanced knowledge and understanding of the word of God in that area, you are not building on a solid foundation. When you hear and understand the word of God, you are counted as a wise builder, building on a sound and solid foundation. Your Knowledge of God Your knowledge about the communicator of a word will boost the integrity of that word in your heart. Daniel 11:32b but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. “shall be strong, and do exploits” here is a parallel to “ I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock” So when you know your God, you shall be strong against rain, flood, wind, and all kinds of challenges of life. What does it mean to know God? It means that you know the way, pattern, character, and nature of God. Way of God: The way of God means the path or method by which; The will of God is achieved. People can approach God. The pattern of God: model or blueprint to establish the purposes of God, e.g. Tithing. The character of God: qualities that define God's nature, e.g. God is Love, Holy, True, Just... Nature of God: These are the inherent attributes of God, Omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and more. The list is not exhausted, I just limit it to this major point, stay committed to it, and expect the miracle of God in your life.

Mind Shift I

Part of the crucial effort God will always make on every of His Children is to shift their mind away from the kingdom of the darkness into the kingdom of light. Apostle Paul would refer to this as transformation/renewing of our mind. Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. The reason for this is, relative to the kingdom, the durability and usefulness of whatever God has blessed us with is dependent on the conformance of our mind to the mind of Christ. That is why Apostle Paul said, let the mind of Christ be in you. Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: This subject of mind shift from the world to kingdom, darkness to light is so serious that just because of it some of the Children of Israel could not enter the promised land (Numbers 13:31-33). According to the mind of God, There is a way His sees you and He will communicate and give you promises based on that reality with Him. Circumstances around your life will also paint for you a picture of reality that most of the time will be against that of God. In this kind of situation you need to trust and believed the report of God alone, take on you the mind of Christ and arise, shine your light though may be little or great, just shine your light. Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. Shift your mind from what God did not say and focus on what God has said about you and all that concern you.
